ClearMarket is a direct marketing company established in 1998 with the goal of bringing large-scale marketing capabilities to companies of any size.

Almost a decade ago, founder and owner Jeff Gackenheimer recognized the power of direct marketing and invested in equipment to fulfill direct mail campaigns at a practical level. As a result of that foresight, our facility, located in central Indiana, is equipped to quickly print and mail large orders or short runs—all at competitive prices.

Over the years, Jeff and his ClearMarket team watched companies waste a lot of money on hit-or-miss direct mail campaigns that they made up as they went along. The response rates were minimal, and clients were often left discouraged and depleted of resources—they used up their budgets hoping for the best, but with no strategy for improvement.

We believed that our clients would see stronger results by creating a system to plan and manage their direct mail campaigns. We developed the philosophy that successful direct marketing is measurable—that it’s a process.

To support that process, we produced a set of simple, powerful tools for ClearMarket clients to easily monitor and analyze their frequent, targeted small runs in order to make adjustments and improvements over time. We consolidated those tools into one product, the Direct Market Manager (DMM). The DMM has become our clients’ command central, empowering them to manage their own campaigns with confidence.

Today, our most successful clients enter into direct marketing with the mindset that outstanding results rarely happen with one high-end mass mailing.
